Can i configure my yahoo.co.uk email account to be used in outlook express ??
I don't think so. However I think you can use Yahoo to view your outlook. Check under Yahoo services. I am really unsure so check around.
Reply:outlook express should have been consigned to the permanent bin a long time ago it's so worthless, nowt ever works as it should, it's an old dinosaur, it's redundant and useless. I stopped bothering with it yonks ago. Good luck if you get it to work for you without any bugs or glitches and hitches!
Reply:If you use Yahoo mail, Outlook can download your messages, with a little aid. Some providers charge for the privilege to access your accounts from an email program.
Try YPOPs for Windows and Mac. This small, free program enables popular email clients like Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, Mozilla, etc., to download e-mail from Yahoo accounts.

Click the "Add" button.
From the Add menu, click "Mail."
In the text box labeled Display Name, type your name and click "Next."
In the Email Address box, type your Yahoo! Mail address (be sure to include "@yahoo.co.uk") and click "Next."

Type "pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk" in the Incoming Mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) Server box.

In the Account Name box, type your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.co.uk").
In the Password box, type your Yahoo! Mail password.
If you want Outlook Express to remember your password, check the "Remember password" box.
Do not check the boxes labeled "Log on using Secure..."
Click "Next."
Click "Finish."
Important: The Yahoo! Mail SMTP server now requires authentication. To turn this setting on:
From the Tools menu, choose "Accounts."
Select the "Mail" tab.
Double-click the account labeled "pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk."
Select the "Servers" tab.
Check the box next to "My Server Requires Authentication."
Click "OK."
To control deletion of messages from the Yahoo! Mail Server:
From the Tools menu, choose "Accounts."
Select the "Mail" tab.
Double-click the account labeled "pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk."
Select the "Advanced" tab.
In the Delivery section at the bottom of the window, check "Leave a copy of messages on server" if you want to save your Yahoo! Mail messages on the Yahoo! Mail server as well as on your local computer. Do not check this box if you want your messages to be deleted from the Yahoo! Mail server once you have received them in Outlook Express.
hope this helps.
Reply:dwightl.geo's suggestion about YPOP! would work, but make sure you don't have Yahoo Mail Beta running. They have not configured it to work for Beta yet.
Also you can check ePrompter which will check your mails from Yahoo! Hotmail GMail AOL and many other mail providers. I use it and like it a lot.
