You could try using Boxbe. Boxbe is a guest list for your Yahoo! Mail inbox.
People on your guest list can correspond with you normally, but everyone else is asked to take a test or pay a fee.
Boxbe works entirely within Yahoo! Mail, so you don't need to leave Yahoo! Mail to use it.
